Slovakia is first team to secure their place in WMF World Cup U21 finals. Slovakians defeated Colombians in morning semifinals 3:0. Will it be Italy or Czech Republic to challenge Slovakia in Championship game? Semifinal # 2 starts at 1 pm.

There has been some upset during yesterdays quarter-finals. Top seeds of group A Russia and group D Senegal lost in exiting games with Colombia and Italy respectively. These will join Czech Republic and Slovakia in today's semifinals. Who will make it to evening finals?

Teams from groups A & B finished their round robin stage of the tournament. Top 2 teams of these groups will meet in quarters tonight. Russia meets Colombia in first and Hungary - Czech Republic in second. Slovakia will meet Great Britain whereas in last quarters Senegal will play against Italy.

A truly exciting semifinal. Czechs lead 2:0 in 37th minute. A way to finals seemed to be well paved for locals. But Italians never gave up. A goal in 50th minute and a 2 minutes  added time by referee made everything possible. As emotions raised to top 2 yellow cards were distributed between both teams in these last two minutes. Italians had a last chance for equalizer in last seconds. A missed opportunity sent locals to finals against Slovakia.
