This year is no way different from the development itself
Up to now, well-known and distinguished persona in the minifootball world began leading the Development Committee of WMF, starting March 2020.
This committee will, on the basis of pure experience, propose and push all the developmental phases of minifootball’s establishment and visibility across the globe. Such important work will be led by Mr. Pablo Melgar, Guatemala.
It is already clear what the immediate actions of this committee will be. Through the consultation with Mr. Melgar, we got the following information:
“The Development Committee will focus on strengthening 6v6 (since is the main modality in WMF), but we will focus on other modalities that are very important in other continents such as 7v7, which is more important in America. We will begin to have some activities with 5v5 and arena soccer modality as well as both men’s and women’s (Mrs. Kaouther Belhadj Med will be in charge of women’s minifootball development).
We are talking with WMF members that can contribute to the development of the committee in terms of modalities included in WMF statutes.
One key project that I want to develop is the construction of minifootball fields or (in some cases), stadiums. The organization has the power of the number of players that are playing minifootball so we need to attract sponsors/investors to do this.”
This team is ready, and we are looking forward to the period of intensive work that is near ahead.

On 21st of November 2020 at 3 PM CET, the WMF General Assembly will be held online, as informed by the Secretary General Mrs. Zorica Hofman.
