The WMF General Assembly 2022 announcement

The most important annual meeting of the highest governing body of the World Minifootball Federation is being organized this year on June 10th, in Kosice, Slovakia, starting at 10 AM.

It will follow all the regular procedures and will include a report on the activities in the previous period of one year. There have been many: WMF Referee seminar, establishing WMF Coaching Committee, implementation of the first WMF Women’s World Cup, and U23 World Cup

The Assembly serves to tackle, discuss, and agree upon all the major organizational issues: technical, administrative, and financial. It sets the year's goals and calibrates the direction of actualizing strategic plan, including governance structure development, improving educational programs for coaches and referees, expanding the base of international partnerships, and old and new international competitions.

This year is when new Executive Committee members are being elected, along with the presidential position. Statutory aspects were reviewed and refined, so it brings the novelties to be discussed and adopted as well.

The list of nominees is as follows: Filip Juda - for WMF President position; Rico Chermont - for WMF Vice-President position; Peter Kralik - for WMF  Vice-President position; Vitthal Sampat Shirgaonkar - for WMF Vice-President position; Achraf Ben Salha - for WMF Vice-President position; Boris Aleksandrov - for an ordinary member position; Kevin Milliken - for an ordinary member position; Ahmad Danash - for an ordinary member position

It is essential to have an experienced and motivated governing body, in order to push forward the impact of the mechanisms that WMF was creating worldwide through its membership network.

WMF is engaging all the capacities to keep it going better and faster.
