The Annual General Assembly of the World Minifootball Federation is taking place on August 16, in the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv.
The scheduled meeting sees several important topics to be discussed. Admission of new members takes priority, so it is expected that WMF family will be expanded with the reception of new members.
Election of the WMF Executive Committee members attracts attention among members because it concerns selecting an organizational structure with a leadership role in the Federation.
Two new competitions will be presented to participants of the General Assembly. It is about the WMF Nessma Continental Cup 2018 to be held this December in Tunisia and WMF Champions League, planned for December 2020.
The members of the General Assembly will also have the opportunity to see the World Cup U21 Presentation. As a reminder, the tournament will be held on October 4–7, in the capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague. Up to sixteen teams are expected to participate and it will certainly be the spectacular showcase of up-and-coming talent.
A special moment is going to be dedicated to the celebratory presentation of the WMF World Cup 2019 Trophy made by a renowned international company World Sports Design. That company also designed medals for the WMF World Cup 2019.
Last but not least – the World Minifootball Federation and French laboratory Labosport have certified the official mini-football grass standards. This will be shown to the General Assembly participants.
