Practicing every week and strong as they could be – presentation of the team Moldova for the WMF U23 WC
August 2021 is getting near and Kyiv closer. Teams are getting ready, and we wanted to find out what they are doing and what minifootball powers they are possibly hiding.
In an interview with the manager of FSNM, Sergiu Carauș we found out that they are currently actively preparing for the WMF U23 World Cup and that they have training and practices each week now.
We wanted also to know what, according to their opinion, are strengths and weaknesses of their team, but they said that that will be clearly visible during the World Cup and that the points for improvements will be known along the way.
The fact that the preparedness of the team is still pending to be assessed comes as a consequence of the situation with COVID-19 where the Moldovan team had a five months pause, which Mr. Sergiu Caraus believes is not good for results in any sport.
Onto the question „What are your expectations from the World Cup you are partaking in?“ he said: „Every team that takes part in a competition wants to be a champion. Some announce it, some dream about it and do not announce it.“
We may conclude that the expectations are high and we wish the best of luck to the team of Moldova.
